I was going through some of the photos from the last month. I had a few different compositions of this particular shot. I thought I'll play around with a bit more painterly post-production. Something a bit different from the usual.Carrick-A-Rede

Love this pic and this place. Just visited here last month...my camera battery died after about 8 shots....and my backup was dead....but even if it hadn't died I wouldn't have gotten a shot like this! how did you get it with no people? LOL it was packed and then poured rain very hard once I crossed the bridge and all the way back! Great job! Makes me want to go back!

Aaahhh yes, the early bird always gets the worm! Unfortunaely I was with a group in a bus and couldn't run around on my own...Never again! Great shot!

I have the added bonus of living here, which means I can get around by car anytime I want. When I was over in Scotland I actually took the ferry over just to have the car with me. Soooo much easier. I think next time I'm in Europe I might just take a tent with me, because public transportation won't get me in places at 5am

oh lucky you to live there! Ferry sounds like an excellent idea...huuummm camping would make the trip to europe cheaper too. LOL ...I would be game for that idea too! Here in the states (florida) we don't have much public transporation...not enough population density...so we are not used to public transportation. I usually rent a car everywhere here when I travel... I did enjoy utilizing public transportation in Ireland and Scotland, I ended up doing a lot of hiking to get to some of the places I wanted to see...since PT did not go there.
