Oh my god, that was amazing. I listened to the song in time with reading the pages, and it was just awesome. It almost made me cry too. I love the way you illustrated the song, it's just perfect.

Oh my God, I just read through the whole thing, and Jesus, this is absolutely amazing. It's so atmospheric and intense, I love your compositions for the pages. The inking is absolutely fabulous too, and the character design. Wonderful work. Good lord.

This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I'd never heard this song(or of this band) before, but listening to it an then reading along with it was so so so sooooooo inspiring. You did such a good job. ;w;

I cannot stress to you how much I love this. The Decemberists are by far my very favorite band, and this is definitely one of the best songs. Really impressed with the way you told the story, and I can't think of any better way to depict the characters than the way you have. Of course, your style of work lends itself perfectly to the feel of the Decemberists, the period and setting that all their music brings to mind.

Wow - I am in love! You've truly captured the feeling of this song in your illustrations (as well as the overall tone of the Decemberists, I think!)
Excellent job. I especially like the little details in the background (such as the picture of the hound hanging on the wall of the home when the mother, child and suspicious character are together in one panel, where the picture is crooked in the next panel with the mother and son alone) as well as the way you ...delayed? the action in the last few panels to make the end more suspenseful.

I love this!
