Griffith gets/is convinced that the Idea of Evil and/or the Godhand are merely using him.Β  Knowing Griffith's pride, he'd start turning on the Godhand or something . . .
We'll wait and see.

I wonderΒ if a new force would arise:Β  A so-called Templar Knights (not the Knights Templar) group hell-bent on punishing/purging the sins of the world . . . that involve everyone and everything and not simply the Apostles and such

Good question. From what I can tell, the series has only focuses on things that were born because of Midland's thoughts, screwing the planet over might open it up to other things just as nasty as the Godhand.
