Howl can be incredibly indifferent to people and situations which don't interest him in a personal gain level. It takes more than meets the eye to find about Howl's bad mood since he is usually a charismatic beign, he will not be rude to someone unless he's been provoked or already having bad day, that said, he will also not attempt to get onto anyone's good side.

He can be nosy and judgamental, he likes to learn about others only to critiquize them. Although the interest is genuine. He can be easy to trigger since he has a short temper and it is hard to get back into neutral terms with him once that barrier has been crossed. He is very passive-aggressive and quite a bit whiny. Howl doesn't think highly of himself but he will not get stepped over by others, he sets limits and makes those limits respected.

Howl avoids embarrassing and awkward situations like the plague, He has a big yet fragile ego and if his ego is threatened he becomes incredibly salty. He copes mostly through angery fits and likes to throw things upside down when he's having said fits. He may go and throw a sick party or get drunk or hire a slut out of mere spite if his ego has been damaged.

He is a fire elemental demon, belogning to the house of Wrath.
Demons from this element and house usually have forms and magic related to the fire element.
They are weak to ice and water elementals.
Demons from the Wrath house seek to haunt and possess humans with anger issues or emotional related problems.
