Born and raised on an Air Force field with parents who were proud members of their battalion, Amelia was raised along humans with a love for humans and the bond they shared with the Pokemon assigned to them by their station. Because the state and care of a Pokemon often had consequences on the battlefield for their partners, cadets were not inclined to mistreat any of them and when she was old enough, she like her parents was assigned to a hotshot pilot who took an immediate love to her.
She rode in the cockpit as his first mate, followed him on training missions and to bars where they celebrated after and for most part it was a good life for her.
During a training incident however, he was badly injured and could no longer serve as a pilot and so was dismissed at which point he, unable to live alone as he did before this had to head back to his family in Unova. He was unable to take her with him due to the tight regulations on transporting pokemon that came into effect and so paid his division to allow her to retire as a service pokemon to be adopted out to a good family where she could live out the rest of her life in peace and left her with his scarf as a token of good times.
As luck would have it, that was how she ended up with Rhames who was looking for a partner for Merida and was more than thrilled to bring her home with him.
Retirement didn’t quite suit the Pidgeotto however and she was equally thrilled to find out that he was an active trainer who went on missions during the weekends and once more she embraced the adventure her new life had to offer her.

- The pilot cap is a gift from Rhames to commemorate her love for and history in the regional Air Force and she adores it.
- Her scarf belonged to her former assigned pilot.
- Paired up with Merida using scouting missions.
- Not too fond of battling but will do so in case where it completes the objective of her mission.
