Yeah I'm kinda in a similar situation, since my birthday I have been off of work regularly with muscular pains to the point I can't actually walk.
As soon as I feel able to I will book a Thursday off and get some people out for Discord.
Other than the kidneys how have you been?

Aww that sucks,
I've just had the most unfortunate last few weeks.
As soon as my hours went up at work things started
to go wrong. From dropping a sofa bed on my foot and
going to A&E, Chest infection and now kidney infection.
So worried about loosing my place at work =/
Apart from all that though I've been alright lol
kind of have to be with he amount of bad luck I get,
otherwise i'd just go insane.

They can't sack you because you are ill without giving lots of warnings and a damn good reason

It's one of those metal fold out sofa beds and
when i was trying to put it away the leg came
down too fast and crushed my foot.
And yeh I suppose you're right only i'm on my
last written warning but that was mostly for lateness
and since then i've not been late once, just ill loads.
Plus I have a doctors note so they've got proof i'm
not just skiving!
