Description [Day 48 of the 365 Photo Challenge]

I was puttering around my yard looking for something to take pictures of and I noticed that there was a grasshopper molting on my bamboo. I didn't even know grasshoppers molted!

They molt up to 5 times before they are mature.

I'm sure they molt from the nymph to the adult, since the nymphs don't have wings yet.
