I miss the days when parents told children: "No means no!"Β or "Keep crying and I'll give you something to cry about!" I agree except with the swearing thing. They are just words that don't hurt people (unless you're talking about words like nigger, fag or dyke). But I have to say, I still don't care about how I look (except for my OCD-ness sometimes, but that's because of a disorder not caring what people think).
