This is one of my babies hammies!its kinda cool cause the mom has a sandy and cinnamon look, while the father has the gray brown color...which totally lead the babies to have an awesome color!!
I couldn't really get a good picture of them cause they always move and stuff..
anyway, obviously, they are 9 days old here! They hav'nt opened their eyes yet.
But today, they are 15 days old, they opened their eyes on the 13thh day!!
They all have ruby red eyes!!

its fine to touch the baby hamsters, when they grow a little bit of hair, grow teeth and when they are able to eat solids and water!
Also, its okay to touch dwarf babies, of course, its different if its a Syrian baby (they're the ones that eats babies).

I've been running a pet store for almost 10 years...if you get your scent on the babies before their eyes are open, there is always the chance that the mother will eat them. That's a fact.

i know that, but its fine to hold the babies if they grow their fur.
and if the babies do get eaten by their mom, thats my problem, i'll just learn from it....okay

I've had dwarf hamsters in the past, and let me tell you, it's very possible for the Mom to eat her babies if you touch them so soon.
I'll never forget how horrified I was. You'd better keep an eye on your hamsters now, or maybe bottle feed them their milk and keep them away from the Mom completely.
But yeah, they're SO cute!

I usually wait for three to four days until I could touch them. they're about 15 days old now, and even if the mom abandons them at least now, they can eat solids and they can also drink water.
