Description When i took this photo, it looked like the babies were falling!!
isn't that cute!!??

These are 5 from 6 babies, i had to cut one baby out (in the photo) to make it (the photo) fit for submission...ing XD!!

The baby hamsters are 3 days old in here.
Differences from the second day are the floppy ears, longer whiskers, the trademark black line on their backs are showing and the eyes are a bit bulgy.

if you have any questions just ask me!!
please comment!! PLEASE!!!

Hahaha! XD You're so lucky~ My hamsters died loooonog ago XD

well, just make sure you DON'T touch the babies. Since they still don't have fur, your scent will stick to them and the mom might get confused (In my case, she ended up eating her own babies DX but not these guys in the picture XD)
Hmmm.. what else can I say? Make sure to separate your male hamsters from your female hamsters. They usually end up mating again if they're in the same cage. I usually leave a LOT of extra nummies and water for the mom to make sure that she wouldn't get too hungry and resort to eating her babies DX
Other than that, I think they'll be just fine

i was so surprised today! i was sticking my hand in the cage to put the food down, and she brought one of her babies out and dropped it in my hand, so i could see it, then when i gave it back, she just took it back to the nest and continued with suckling them!!!

hahah!! yea, I actually poked and played with the 1st batch of babies a couple of times~ It was pretty okay. I mean, the mom still took pretty good care of them^^ It wasn't until the 2nd batch came when she started to be a little bit of a biatch to them XD
I was still 12 when she had them, you can imagine how terrified I was when she would start eating them XD
I didn't really know if touching the babies would be bad until I asked around a bunch of dA members who owned hammies XD Anyway, hope your babies would grow healthy!

All baby hamsters should be left alone, otherwise, the mother hamster will get defensive and eat them. That happened to a bunch of Dwarf hamster babies my baby sister had, and it was sad.

i do hope these babies are okay, you really should not touch them or disturb the nest until they are about 2 weeks old i think. they shouldn't be moved/held before their eyes are open and their fur has developed because the mother is very likely to reject the litter and kill the babies if the babies smell different.

It's ok since they are Dwarf hamster and not Syrians. But i do show them to the mother while i pick some up! She totally welcomes them back from my hand!
She's quite silly though, every time i hold a baby and return it, she always licks my hand as if she thinks that, I too, am her baby!
Thanks for warning me anyway!!!

well i'm glad that they're okay then just be careful beacuse it would be awful for you to loose any. (i mean for them to be killed by the mother, not literally for them to run away)

either way, they're adorable.
