Nic is quite charming in his own right; he is sometimes seen as rude and likes to cause some trouble, but he is in no way boastful about such things. He tends to beat others to the punch line when it comes to his odd looks, which takes the joy out of it for most. His body image simply doesn't bother him.

Niculus has rather large ears, comparable to that of a hare, protruding front teeth, and lacks any mane. His tail is a short brush and his legs are rather squat for his body. Nic's head is also a bit disproportionate in size and he lacks an antler. He has a scar along his neck; likely something from the chaos of the war.

History:

Born to a pair of Loyalists who treated him quite well after the initial concern and confusion over his strange appearance, Nic grew up happy enough despite being limited by his body. He was most useful as a messenger and helper with small tasks when they were asked of him. Despite this he is still ambitious and wants to be of some importance one day.

After the war, Windborne was left divided; the Loyalists in shambles. This has led Cuniculus to question the beliefs he was raised on. Why were the Allies so successful? What was backing them? He became a scout of sorts, not really reporting back to anyone, just to answer his own curiosities. The small unassuming stag now resides in the Allied Herd, though he doesn't quite yet "ally" himself with them so to speak. He is quite convincing, but then it isn't that hard to be interested in new things. He is most curious about this Molach figure they all whisper about.

Jason was Nic's best friend in the allied herd and he shares many fond memories with the stag, but Nic's curiosities have caused their paths to diverge. He has hopes to see him again one day.
