Horribly thin with a very clean coat. Long mane and full tail bound with wolfhide leather. Part of mane hangs over face. Slight bags under eyes from constant state of stress. His tines form a "Y" like shape (If looking from front) with smaller nubs branching off.

Personality:

Meliorn is a very jumpy creature and very frantic and fearful of everything around him. His skin shivers more often than not, what with his nerves on end so much but its usually a sign that his stress is at its peak. He doesn't tend to openly seek others out, preferring to keep to close friends and family. It may take quite a long time before he trusts new acquaintances.

He often cant bring himself to pass by anyone that needs a shoulder to cry on because he's been there and he cant stand for others to be upset, this may be one of the few times where you will ever see him laugh or smile when he is trying to cheer someone up. If one does happen to garner a smile out of Mel it is a rare treat indeed. He is at his most talkative in small groups or when he is alone. The stag seems to have a habit of talking to himself.

Meliorn does have his strong points as well, he loves to outsmart others whether it be predator or fellow Fawnling alike, which may be one of the only reasons he has survived for so long, he definitely knows how to use his surroundings to his advantage but doubts his own abilities causing him to often overthink and make critical mistakes. The stag is also self conscious of his appearance and will do his best to look as decent as possible without attracting unwanted attention. One will never find his den out of line as everything has its place.

His mother was very paranoid, more than is ever healthy even for Blackwood, and kept him attached at the hip when he was a fawn. He was rarely ever allowed to stray away from her much less play with others. She claimed the noise would attract predators or she didn't want him to get hurt, which made her son grow to question everything's safety and believe everything was out to get him. He was a very fragile thing in a terribly sharp world. And things never changed as he aged, Mel always ended up being coddled even by strangers and his own brother. The majority of Blackwood though, it seems looks down on Fawnlings like him. He is weak, and nothing but a hindrance, for this reason he never tells of the few who have treated him kindly not wanting to impare their standings in the herd as well.

~Kerras:
His half-brother has done him huge favors in the past, and probably saved his hide more than once. There is still much he doesn't know about Kerras and vice-versa but Mel knows he is a trustworthy Blackwood none the less.

~Mother:
Meliorn likely only held love for his mother for a little over a year of his life before things started to shatter and warp right before his eyes. She sacrificed his brother to the wolves because of the hue of his pelt and later blamed her son for this atrocity. Uir had given her a son the color of sunlight and she thought it as a curse, an abomination of Blackwood. She threatened him with her Necromancy for years and made him fear the world to the point of it being unhealthy. He was always near starvation because his hysteric nerves made it impossible for him to eat, and what if he ate the wrong thing? He could die. The doe then later grows jealous of his only friend, fearing the younger doe will steal him away, and kills her out of resentment. Meliorn loses his mind and retaliates out of pure hatred, though he doesn't realise what he has done until the smell of blood brings his mind back to the surface. He leaves her to the wolves, the wolves that ate his little brother. He never forgives himself or his mother.

~Uir:
He respects the Earth Mother and all does as anyone should, but he is still uncertain whether to think her cruel or just brutally honest.

~Sahlven:
The stag doesn't know that much about his father, besides his occupation and that he shares his heritage with Kerras.

~Rasah:
Rasah was the only Fawnling Mel looked up to. She helped him regain some of his confidence, even went so far as to force him to eat, not unkindly of course. She was the only one who cared for him and he was grateful to call her his friend. As their friendship grew over the years they knew each other his feelings for the doe began to grow but he could never bring himself to tell her, fearing she may not feel the same, he didn't dare risk losing his only companion over his petty feelings. But even if he ever worked up the courage to tell her, it was not to be. All of a sudden Rasah stopped coming, he feared she'd grown tired of his company. Maybe he was lying to himself, maybe they were never as close as he believed. But it wouldn't be long until he discovered her true fate. Meliorn made an attempt to call on her spirit later in his life, but his magic was nowhere near ready and nearly kills himself in the process. It fails, though he vows to call on her again when he's stronger.

~Malbari:
His dear little brother, a sweet little soul that could hardly speak before he was taken away from him. The thought of his fate just burns him to the core. He summons hir for a short time, but to his dismay the little wisp does not recognize him.
