looking back on this picture i see somehting that im now curious about...the tallest building on th right hand side looks un finished or something at the top...or like there is a giant blob of mud on it...wats going on with it?

OMG Kristen. I can't believe you don't love this, this is so amazing. I love the buildings-they look so real, it actually reminds me of one of the streets me and Diane and Ashlin walked down in T.O last year when we went to the ROM. and the rain effects? WOW. That is it, just wow, it's so ealistic, and the backsplash and everything off of the couple and the umbrellas/taxi...the clouds, the glass reflection...WOW.

this is f*ing incredible...you said earlier today it wasnt insane and you lied! im pissed lol, i was so gonna do a picture with buildings like this, i took a bunch of pictures as references when i was in toronto ^^, anyway you did a better job then i ever would have. just all the simple detials here and there, the lighting on the taxi windshield really did it for me, and the buses, the flags and pretty well all the small details you threw in made the picture...just wow...you may have over done the people with umbrellas...not so much in the foreground but as they trail off the angle of elevation increased uncomfortably, other then that, absolutely flawless...how many layers was this? how did you not confuse the lineart in the distance when colouring, and when did you touch jesus?

Lol thanks for the comment. Now that I look at it in small view, I can see what you mean about the umbrellas in the distance. Dammit. It was a bazillion layers, I did layers for each building and such, the sky, the umbrellas in the foreground, umbrellas in the background, flags, banners...etc. Then normal layering with the couple in the front too. And I made sure to make the pencil lineart in the background finer than in the foreground... waaaaaay too time consuming.
