Sometimes looks can be decieving.I once had a salesperson coming to our door, noticing me playing with my dog out on the lawn and asked me if my parents were home.
I was 28.
Not being let in to concerts that just happen to sell alchohol is fun too I guess... ._. *RIP Stone Sour concert experience I never got* hashtag still bitter lol...

People seem to think that I'm still in high school. I almost always get carded. I'm 24. (25 later this year). My boyfriend is a year YOUNGER than me and he never gets carded. People always assume he's older than me. LOL

I am 25 (almost 26) and people at work kept thinking I was around 18 or so. Something similar happened at a plasma donation center as well. Apparently I have a young face.

The closest one was when I went to a bar and the guy at the front door let pass all my friends except me. He asked if I was a minor, if I could show him my ID, and I was like...dude, I'm 24. Also in my work at the beginning, when I did say I was 26 they didn't believe me, they were like "wait a second...you are not a college student doing her internship?!?" lol

Wow this apparently this happens a lot. On a walk years ago I was stopped by a police officer who asked if i was a high schooler ditching. Said High school was across the busy highway in town just three or so blocks over. I politely informed him I was in town while mom was visiting my relative and no I was 23 or so. "I wanted to revisit all the places I missed since moving." Oddly that day I had my id on me and offered to show it to him. He left moment later no problem. I know he was feeling very embarrassed. Later on that day I gave that officer's brother in blue a hard time about being mistake for a high schooler ditching as he was picking up his little girl from my relatives place. My Relatives were daycare providers. "Tell him thanks for the Compliment."
Prior to that an elderly woman thought I was 12. I was 18. My childhood friend got a good laugh from that. Bad enough mom forgot my age for 2 year when I was 16 but come on.

I went to a casino on a cruise once when I was 18. The first time I went in, they didn't even card me. They straight up kicked me out :I
Another time, I went to an adult panel at a convention. I was card 6 separate times. I was 20.
One other time I remember is when I went into an adult shop with a couple of friends. We were browsing the uh, toys when a couple walks in. We hear the girl legit say "Oh my god, I don't know how I feel about buying toys in front of a 12 year old." after they saw me.
My friend proceeded to laugh and ask me when I was getting married(I was engaged) I was 21 at the time.

The second one, I get that all the time. I'm also 26 and everyone always thinks I'm barely out of high school or something. I always get shocked responses of "but you look so young!" and even once, "no way, dude! you are old as shit!"

I've definately gotten the, "You look like a teen, wait you're in your twenties?!" Quite a few times. Its flattering imo, but also kinda annoying when people don't take me seriosuly cause they don't realize I'm older then them.

Into my late twenties and early thirties I kept getting asked why I was not in school, or why I was working over nights when I had school in the morning. They thought I was like 15 or 16. Now people think I'm 18 or 19, I'm thirty five.

I was 4' 7" till I was about 15 and 5' 3" till was 17 or so, then I grew to 5' 8" and a half. When I was four foot seven, at thirteen or forteen people thought I was way, way younger.

Lamooo I got this a lot, curse with baby face. It wasn’t first time when I got many people surprise about my ages. When I was teenager, one man from my mother’s side asked how old I was and She told him I was 15 years old, and he was surprise because he thought I was 12 or 13!
And at the bar, I got couple bartenders seen me as teenagers but I show them my ID. Because I knew they don’t believe that I am 22 years old looool! It’s became my life man...and for mention that my height and the way I’m wearing is not mature enough but...I am an adult.

DEFINITELY!! I work at a liquor warehouse and for the first year I worked there all the guys just assumed I was 17, 18 or that i had at least just graduated high school.

Quite deceiving indeed, I remember one time that I was on vacation, we were heading to the airport to get in the plane back home, once we got to the lounge of the national flights, I showed my ID minors card to the officer and he was surprised while looking at me because he didn't thought I was a minor (I was 16 back then) only because I forgot to shave for the day of the flight, and he gently thought I looked like I was 24, lol

I've always looked way younger than I am. I'll be turning 27 in a few months and people always think I'm still in my late teens or something lol I don't mind it too much. I honestly find it funny when people are like "Hey how old are you?" And I make them guess. They always say 17 - 20 range and the look on their face when I tell them I'll be 27 soon is hilarious XD

Haha yeah! I remember at work one time, some teenagers were just hired and I was chatting with one of them and getting to know her and she was like "Hey, Dude and I were debating on how old you are. He thinks your 18 and I thought you were more like 20 so how old are you?" And I was like "Oh haha thanks but I'm actually 26" And she was floored so we went to tell Dude and he was like.. ".. wait... What?? No way.. Really???" it was the funniest thing ever man wow
