Might be off but I got a feeling thats Spike, what with the circle being broken. The body looks stronger, bigger arms broader chest. He's stronger than he has ever been, and with his wings (running away from home) he finally has a chance to escapeΒ
Thing is the wings are down, so are his ears he has not taken flight yet and is perhaps slightly anxious, undecided on what to do.Β

Or I suppose it could be Charles and the circle breaking is out of his control as the world he knows turns to slop in his hands. Or perhaps he is seeing the blood on his hands for the first time realising what he has done But I don't feel as confidant with that
