Anywho, The Claw is one of the rides at Dream World which are apparently famous. The Big Six (The Claw, the Tower of Terror, the Giant Drop, Mick Doohan's Motocoaster, Wipeout, The Cyclone) are definitely a must-do if you ever go to Dreamworld. The Claw was by far my favourite.

You start sitting in a seat (duh); there are about twentyfive - thirty seats formed in a circle, with the riders facing outwards. The ride starts very slowly; the seats, which are attatched to a giant pendolum, start to sway left-to-right, and the circle of seats starts to spin. The swaying gets slowly higher and higher, until eventually you're soaring through the air extremely fast, then hanging suspended up-side-down for a few seconds before swinging back the other way. This goes for about a minute before it starts to slow down, then you get out once it stops.

Best. Ride. Ever.
