Since its cold you should be able see its breath. Also I noticed something with the tail, is it a stick?

HA! There actually is no tail - there wasn't on the original stock image, so I didn't include one - the 'stick tail' is just a very unfortunately placed log in the background.
Also, I did include some visible misty breath, but it is a little difficult to see because it is highlight over highlight.

At first glance, I was like "bah, too dark, too plain, not interested" and planned to move on without a second thought. But the lighting, the pose, the angle of it, when I looked closer it had such a strong feel of quiet, peaceful lonesomeness that I could no longer dismiss it. It reached beyond the page. Though subtle on the surface, this piece has heart. Well done!
