A request from for his Lucario Pokesona.Didn't have a ref sheet for this one so I made it up as I went. All of the base colors used were given by in raw RGB values. I just superimposed shading layers over it to add depth. Β Tried to mix it up with a primary green source coming from around him and a secondary light source coming from the small laptop computer.
It's been years since I last drew a Lucario. Was a but rusty on this one. I also forgot to put my signature, I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to figure out how long it actually takes me to render a full character.
anyways, Frost belongs to and belongs to Nintendo. Β Made with Sketchbook Pro entirely on the Android platform.

Well, probably 45 mins to sketch and thicken it.
45 minutes to make the line art (I'm really slow at this)
An hour to add the base colors because I'm an idiot and forgot the way I used to do it (Which I just recently relearned).
About 2 hours for gray scale shading.
and 15 or 20 mins for the highlights and illumination.
So, about 5 hours actually, which isn't bad for me at all. I usually take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours on a piece, just because how slow I draw and render. But this was a request, I felt a lot looser on it than normal.

So soon? Last time I updated was like a month ago.
I drew a couple of things over that elapsed time and I'll be uploading them here eventually.
But anyways, I started playing with specific light sources and how they affect coloration. Most of my new complete pictures will probably incorporate this.

That comic stuff is still in my inbox, btw. I really do love it, but I've held off on faving or anything like that til I can find time to comment on it.
The long weekend looked promising.
Now here I am with a cold which gives me random fevers. Blah. xD

Aha, but I like the sort of works that focus on light reflections and such. Especially the ones that show the effects something like an apple would have on a table in the sunlight, ya know? The kinda pics that have a nice glow to em. :3

Myself, I've been wanting to draw lots of things recently, but I've been lacking the motivation and energy to get down to much lately. School is getting tense now, and in still basically failing my math class. :/
