Haha thanks. Β I really liked this design but it definitely falls more in line with the aesthetic in MK9, it wouldn't really work in the MKX style. Β I like Tanya in MKX but why they lightened her skin so much bugs me. Β She definitely looked black in previous games, you can't even really argue that. Β I'm not sure what the reason was for the change. Β But whatever lol.

I was thinking earlier how Tanya would look if she was given a "female ninja" style costume. Great work on this design; I do wish they used her or another returning character instead of Freddy Krueger. Hopefully the eventual sequel will see her get a reboot and re-design.

No interruption, you're good. I searched and read a few things saying that they were going to keep the plotline that he has king jerrod's soul and is going to lead the edenian resistance with resurrected sindel and kitana. it sounded like fanfiction but you never know i guess.

It would be a nice change of pace from the classic heroes of Earthrealm thing, since let's face it, almost all of them are dead sadly. That sucked, I do agree though, it does sound kind of fanficy, but I'm sure it'll be done pretty well

I thought that was b.s. though. The way all of them just ran up to Sindel and got their asses handed to them, it was like watching a generic action movie where the main hero just plows through a bunch of henchmen, except they're not faceless npc's they're beloved characters. I especially didn't like her ripping out Jade's stomach or liver or whatever that was lol. If they could all get killed so easily it just made the storyline seem pointless up to that point. But I agree it does make for a fresh start so I'm excited to see what they come up with.

I know, it did kind if annoy me too. Especially since it just felt like they just wanted to make the story randomly dark or just decided they wanted to kill there characters off again so they just had Sindel pwn all there asses.
Oh yeah, it doesn't help that I'm like huge Jade fanboy, so that really felt like Ed Boon spat on my face.
But I suppose this is Mortal Kombat, no one really stays dead, but is very annoying when this kind of thing happens.

I did seem like a cheap plot device but at the same time it's a fighting game story so my expectations aren't exactly high lol, it's all good fun no matter what happens in my eyes. And you're right no one really stays dead in these games.
It's like Dragon Ball, if a character dies they'll just find the dragon balls and wish them all back to life. I'm sure all the characters will be resurrected or become something else like Bi Han became Noob Saibot. I actually thought it would be cool if those characters came back as wraiths and have dark powers.
But still...Sindel's a brainwashed bitch

The only reason they had the big Sindel massacre scene was because they looked at MK4 and went "Y'know, for a story where Hell itself rises and attacks the Earth, it was pretty tame. Y'know what we need when we remake it? A whole bunch of characters who are dead so they can rise from the grave as badguys." There was never any intention of a "fresh start" or clearing those characters off the board so there'd be more room for new ones. If there was, they wouldn't have shown all the dead characters as slaves of Quan Chi not even a whole chapter later.

I always found it funny how incosistant Dragon Ball Z's plotlines were and how they mixed with the films and how many time Goku and Krillin get ressurected and shit.
Yeah, it's a fighting game plot, it's not like we can expect Shakespeare or something
