Second in the series of character portraits I'm doing for a dnd party I'm in w some of my friends :0! This is Jamai Anverri, our high-elf bard. She's one of two bards in the party, and she's the Not Chill one. Jamai comes from a prestigious, high-class noble family and seeks to prove that she is better than everyone else in the room. Mostly at playing music, but also just kind of in general! She's sort of like a medieval insta baddie in aesthetics and general demeanor (use code jamai for 20% off y'all). She's endearingly arrogant and I rlly like her place in our party dynamic.
The campaign we're running is essentially like, magic grad school with a vaguely high-fantasy, loosely-inspired-by-the-renaissance aesthetic. Jamai is roommates with two other members of the party, our chill bard Zasha and our quirky demon-worshipping warlock, Cyrus . Jamai is viscerally horrified/strongly averse to the idea of living with both of them. She's kind of wishing she was able to snag a single room.
Oh and if you're wondering what those little packages by her are, they're there bc during "orientation day" during our first session, she moved all her stuff into her room with mage hand. Which meant she had to pack all of it into individual 5-pound boxes. Anything to avoid manual labor lol.
