Here's my second set of sketchcards: Born of Monsters!Included in the set are:
-Carnage (Cletus Kasady)
-Toxin (Patrick "Pat" Mulligan)
-Scorn (Tanis Nieves)
-Anti-Venom (Edward Brock)
Again I had a TON of fun making these. Scorn was the most difficult to color, though, because I only have one Violet copic marker and it was too dark for her symbiote. I ended up using a combination of the Violet and a C3 (cool gray) marker to make the purple light enough to pass.

Hmmm I wonder what Toxin and Scorn would do if they would meet......... more importantly why does Carnage's offspring become good?

Well with Toxin, it's explained that the 1000th spawn of every symbiote line is plagued with genetic memory breakdown (symbiote amnesia), and can be influenced to be good or bad. And because Toxin ended up bonding to a cop, he went good. As for Scorn...well, she only wanted to stop Carnage and Shriek from killing more people. Otherwise, we won't know if she's really a hero or villain until she shows up in another comic. If anything, she would either be spawn number 1001, a carbon copy, or a second 1000th spawn (which is possible, since Toxin's spawn would be spawn number 1001).

Scorn is a brand new addition to the symbiote family, debuting in Carnage #5 (2011). SPOILER ALERT!!! Tanis Nieves was Shriek's psychiatrist until she lost an arm when Spidey's Doppelganger attacked Shriek's transport while in transit to a big tech firm that was researching a new kind of prosthetic, which utilized copies of the Carnage symbiote. Tanis received one of these prosthetic arms, but when the Carnage symbiote broke free and reunited with Cletus Kasady, her arm went berserk. When she was left alone with Shriek and Doppelganger, she finally gave into the symbiote's desire to bond with her and they became Scorn.
