regarding the DD and this picture, i agree, this one has much more emotion and meaning.
the DD is very, very cool though. but i like this one better
the title really completes the concept (though i hate using the word "concept")

It's a pretty intense shot indeed... it fits the title pretty well, the symbolism in this picture's also pretty neat, even a non-american can somewhat see the point. Great shot !
