Well I'd be more than "relatively happy" with it if I'd taken it. It's about as sharp as anybody could ever hope for, and in overcast skies that's pretty damned good!

In fact I think once again the clouds play into your hands with this one as the painted metal surfaces look great against the dull sky.Β

It's actually a very crisp shot, however for some reason here on DA it appears soft.

I'd imagine it would have something to do with the way dA resizes images. This is why I always resize images to the size I want myself in photoshop prior to uploading.Β

But are you resizing to the same size that you are asking dA to output it at? I ask because it is saying that the full image isΒ 3826Γ—3061 at it's largest size, meaning that dA must be resizing the image down from what you have uploaded. Because I'm certainly not seeing it atΒ 3826Γ—3061.

So for example, when I am uploading an image, I usually set it so that dA outputs the image atΒ 1280Γ—853, and this is always the exact size I resize to in photoshop.
