Let's see, T-6 wing, T-33 canopy, P-51 rudder, T-6 aft fuselage and the rest of the fuselage was manufactured to accept the large engine.

That's what I thought too Chuck. It's called a SUPER SIX, essentially a bashed T-6.

Seems like he did a good job. It's been flying since 2010.

Looks the result of what would happen if a Texan and a Thunderbolt mated.

A Kick-ass combination if you ask me however this is a SUPER SIX, a one-off T-6 variation.

The N number is a dead give away. ^^ It does look like someone put some spare parts together.

All I can think is "that ain't no stock texan" (wheels/frame giveaway) or (in your best redneck voice) - "yup, had some spare parts layin' 'round... got some geddyup now"
- it's like a photoshop-kitbash from a t-6, p-4, T-38?, p-51 and a t-33??
Or worse - "she may not look like much - but she's got it where it counts..."
(Another case of so ugly it's actually cool? )
