My first in a line of Star Trek character portraits. I wanted to start chronologically, so I've started with Star Trek Enterprise. This portrait is of Jonathan Archer played by Scott Bakula. I hope you all enjoy.Related content

Scott's talent has always been his vocal range. The Man of LaMacha episode of Quantum leap is so incredibly moving.

Oh, I know, it's one of my favourites. ^^ Quantum Leap was awesome all around. I heard that they might make a remake/movie of it- but without him in it.

I really hope they bring it back, or make a film. I seriously believe that QL is one of the only franchises where you could have a film and still have the main cast and it would make sense as he's still leaping through time. Al could be retired, and the project gave up on him, and now Sam can leap at will. And the story is about him finally doing his biggest leap, and making his leap home. I would be first in line for that.

Yep, been a fan for many years. I plan on working my way through the crews, so it may be some time before I get to Picard. But Kirk is coming sooner rather than later.

I think they had Robert April appear in some of the Star Trek comics. I'll do a search later and see if I can find some character art from those.

Oh yes. He's also appeared in fan videos, novels (he's on the cover of the novels) and there's this one picture from an encyclopedia of him portrayed by Gene Roddenberry.
