Power:
-As a minor form of divination, he can experience past instances that have occurred if he walks into the general area of where there were strong emotions. Cannot control where and when he uses this power and experiences exactly what the victim(s) suffered/experienced.

-Wields a magical lantern that cannot be broken, which can be used to ward off ghosts and dispels illusions. The lantern can also be used like a flamethrower by opening its door and saying, “Exuro”. He can also ignite and put out the lantern by saying, "Ignis", to ignite it, and "Umbra", to put it out. The lantern can also become blindingly bright and extend the illusion breaking, illuminating, and warding abilities to a greater extent by saying, "Accendo". Does not know the full extent of the power of the lantern.

Personality: Cynical, observant, sarcastic, and a pessimist to the end. Dedrick isn't the most pleasant person to be around, but it does not change the fact his has a rather high moral compass. His personality can mostly be attributed to his uncontrollable ability to see past memories, mostly traumatic ones like death and murder. Despite that, he'd like nothing more than to take a quiet walk in the park on a cool night with his lantern in hand.

History: Dedrick would rather live a quiet life, but there is always something that prevents him from having one. Because of his ability paired with his observational skills, Dedrick has made an excellent detective which prevents his ideal life as he is often sought after to solve impossible cases and mysteries of all kinds. Though successful, this brings him more than a lifetimes worth of trouble as it causes him to be wrangled into many different conspiracies and dealing with the supernatural, much to his dismay.

This is furthered by the fact that he is constantly being followed by a female ghost with amnesia named, Fiona. He isn't sure as to why she follows him, but she just makes his life harder most of the time. To make matters worse, she is extremely naive to the point where she asks obvious questions. Regardless, her company is better than most of the stuff he has to deal with and she does actually help him at times, so he let's her hang around him.

A/N
-Fiona is somehow not affected by his lantern, which baffles him to no end.
-Dedrick takes anti-depressants and regularly sees a therapist to help deal with the horrifying memories he witnesses due to his scrying ability.
-Has a deep-seated hatred for immortals, be it gods or something other.
-Is actually a very powerful seer, but has most of his power of divination sealed by a seer's glyph so as not to be overwhelmed and go insane from the visions.
-Greatly dislikes people reading his mind.
-Equipped with a universal translator that is roughly the size of a pocket watch to interact with the many different creatures that pass through Junction. It also produces a hologram for somatic based languages.
-Can speak English, Latin, and Draconic.
