I'm just starting to keep up with the series. I'm really surprised at how good it is. Even with Donnie's new gap---he is still my favorite turtle!

I disliked ninja turtles when I was kid, even though I had never watched it. I hated it cause I hated the super loud toy commercials.
I liked the 2007 movie, and that was the first I'd ever watched of TMNT.
Then a few months ago I randomly decided to watch the new show and now I'm obsessed. XD
Especially with Donnie.

Revealing my age here, I remember the cute happy face turtles and the old turtle movies. Was always a fan, but at one point in time, TMNT disappeared due to all the other mutated animal heroes on the scene: Biker Mice from Mars, Street Sharks, and some other ones I can't remember. I love the newer TMNT series. Turtles Forever had me in stitches.

I think his crush is cute, but I hope it stays onesided and then ends with April dating Casey and Donnie moving on. In some episodes it's almost like both April and Donnie have agreed to ignore his crush. Like he knows she knows and they leave it at that.
I haven't heard of those other shows... they must not have been the lasting type. XD
I'm currently watching the 2003 series, I still haven't watched any of the first cartoon or live action movies.
