Finally, I went to Redang for holiday. It's been real fun with all the snorkelling, squid jigging and photoshooting. The scenery is very beautiful and the sea water is an envy to the western penisular counterpart.I arrived at the island just in time to participate in the Squid Jigging Fiesta, an event to promote local culture. It was fun to try fishing out squid without any baits! Not to mention the blackish ink (I can't remember the name) squirted to your face. My team was placed fifth and one of my team-mate got third for the longest squid.
I woke up at 5.50 in the morning to capture this shot and spent the next hour feeding the mosquitoes.

Side note: Redang Island is located offshore Terengganu, Malaysia. A beautiful place worth visiting.

Enticed me to click it from gallery view, but was disppaointed with the exaggerated over editing of the photo. Too many primary colours take away from the calmness and peacefulness and beauty of the area. Otherwise it is a nice shot

THIS. IS. AWESOME! The light is amazing. You were lucky (or was it intentional?) the boat was right in front of an island so it's not so noticeable. Don't worry, I didn't see it till I'd studied the picture for a while. I love the colours.

O.o, so beautiful..... Went to redang before but makes me scratch my head wondering where you took this one. Actually, I did woke up early to try to catch the sunrise, but my luck was never on my side when I go to beaches as far as the weather is concerned. Beautiful....
