have spent a lot of time going between this and "pt. 2" trying to decide which I liked more... for whatever reason, I really relate to this feeling of standing on the edge of the ocean (though I'll admit I've spent far less time standing on the edge of the ocean than I'd like in my life). I enjoy the inclusion of the beach and water and sky, and it makes the lady look quite small... the sheer thing she's wearing looks fantastic in this setting as well.

I like it very much. But why surreal? This looks very real and emotive to me. I guess it's how you read the DA category thing. Wonderful image. Might be a little too dark as a print, though.
