Sergeant for my Imperial Guard kill team. Took way longer to finish this than I thought I would but here it is. Went for the shotgun because I didn't want to spend any points on fancy kit for a unit which could be killed so easily, and I didn't think the extra attack given by the pistol and close combat weapon would be put to much use by imperial guard. Took the shotgun from a space marine scout kit.Model Kit by Games Workshop

is that an attempt at digital camo on a guardsman? if so that's amazing how did you do it?

I was going for an urban combat look but not digital camouflage, although now you mention it I can see how it looks like that. It was pretty simple getting that effect, I just applied white directly over a black base with small dabs to make a mottled pattern. Fairly quick and lazy method really but it got the desired effect, although looking back it might have been better to use a light grey instead of white to avoid it coming out so bright.

if you're looking to modify them from what they are now i wouldn't repaint them completely i'd add a third color such as a sage green in a similar pattern and method to the white but a bit less volume

Honestly I can't see myself ever going back to these, I haven't done Warhammer for ages. Thanks for the feedback though
