Well, this is one of my strangest pics I've ever done. Not because of being sexual or violent, but because of some stranger reasons...The inspiration of drawing this pic is the dream I had got yesterday. I was walking alone in the train station one sunny day. Suddenly, I noticed the propaganda poster on the wall, including tanks, submarines, planes, bombs, etc, etc and Volk from "Nu Pogodi" wearing North Korean general's military uniform...
Wait! WTF? VOLK WEARING NORTH KOREAN GENERAL'S MILITARY UNIFORM?!
It's impossible! How the Russian cartoon wolf, the essence of my childhood, came here, how he appeared in this fucking Asian communist poster in my mind?! I felt then extremely arkward here, 'cause this Volk was amusing. So amusing I wanted to draw it right here, right now. So, I drew this and I asked my mom for some instructions about proper watercolour using (THNX, Mom - ya've gotta the credit here!). And voila! Our arkward dream came true...
Ya complain about lack of background (mentioned tanks, submarines, planes and a North Korean flag)? It doesn't matter - the Volk here is the most important image from my dream made by insane depressed mind...

PS: I then read that North Korean bastrards used illegally image of burning New York from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in one of their propaganda videos: [link] . So if they would use in next their video our Russian cartoon wolf, I wouldn't be suprised so much. :/

Mi tam Wilk pasuje tu idealnie. Akurat w propagandzie koreańskiej pojawiały się zwierzęta, Koreańczycy nakręcili trochę propagandowych kreskówek dla dzieci.

A fascinating dream. It's the level of surreality I would dream of. I love this image. The sinisterly smug expression is oddly perfect for such a deranged nation. I wonder if Zayats is featuring in South Korean advertisements?

I find it very interesting. It's a place where a lot of political change happened in such a short space of time. I am fascinated by Cold War Germany and its East/West divide. Such different worlds. Korea is obviously the modern example of this.

Yeah, I remember. What I meant was it's the only remaining example of a Communist/Capitalist divide. Very different than Germany though. Hugely different cultural aspects. North Korea has more in common with Japanese Fascism. Ironically the very thing Korea rose up against.
