Destroyah is probably the one monster that Godzilla couldn't defeat (literally). He did more damage to Goji than any monster in the entire series. He killed Junior, thus causing Godzilla's meltdown to worsen. He chopped Godzilla up like salami and dragged him across Tokyo like a ragdoll. Pretty much Godzilla got his butt kicked, but he went out fighting. He blasted the crap out of Destroyah with his atomic breath and ripped at his stomach with his claws. GvD is one of my favorites. I like the ending with Junior, roaring in his dad's place as the new King of Monsters.

Most Godzilla enemies are based off of animals like Anguirus based of anklysaur, Rodan a pteradactyl, Mothra a moth, Godzilla himself is a dinosaur, Destoroyah is based off the freaking devil!

That's truly amazing, Destoroyah looks totaly evil and ready to kill Godzilla. This was also the best scene with him in the movie.

This is absolutely incredible. Destroyah is one of my favorite kaiju. He (Yes, Destroyah is a MALE!) has one of the coolest designs and had the most badass personality (aside from Godzilla himself) out of any Toho monster. It's too bad that HE never appeared in any other movie.
Did I mention that Destroyah is a BOY monster? Don't let that "Oh, but that triangular pattern on the belly is the same as horeshoe crabs" or "But that one magazine..." bullshit tell you otherwise. All OFFICIAL Toho products and sources list Destroyah as a male kaiju.
