Description
An old picture taken at the 2001 Oklahoma State Fair of me with 'Fluffy', a 25', 375-pound Reticulated Python belonging to reptile breeder Bob Clark. I wanted to have her draped over my shoulders in the pic, but her owners said she was sleeping and didn't want to disturb her, so I settled for sitting next to her petting her, though I did get to help carry her to the truck when the exhibit closed for the night (took about half a dozen people, including myself).Related content

I believe she once held the record for the largest reticulated python in captivity at one point.

According to her owners, she'd eaten a pig not very long ago.

Indeed she is; one of the largest snakes in captivity. It was truly amazing getting to meet her.

That is a wonderful looking snake there o_o I do love them so much <3 Though it certainly looks like 'Fluffy' is overweight XD Such a great name..

not sure if you've kept up with Fluffy, but he's at the Columbus Zoo now and 33' feet ... I was down there last week ... he makes my burms look like babies

Fluffy's a female, actually. Male snakes are smaller than females.

That she most definitely is. I still consider it an honor to have gotten to share space with such an incredible animal.
