While I'm still polishing more miniatures to submit, I will post some drawings as well...

So here is a NPC from my Dark Heresy campaign. Once the players got stranded on the Sargitarius Arm, far away from the reach of any astropaths and also from the Emperor's Light. I was reading the first books of Horus Heresy at the time and got curious about what happened to the Luna Wolves/Sons of Horus left there before the Heresy to fight the Interex...

Happens that the character found this lost Astartes, most of them locked away in Dreadnought suits (10.000 years stranded, they were very, very ancient), and their leader, Captain BaalThazaar was still commanding them into a endless struggle against the Interex, still believing Horus and the Emperor were alive and ok.

After some very tense moments (and rolls of Fellowship), the characters broke the truth of the last ten thousand years to the lost Luna Wolves and together they managed to get back to Ultramar. The arrival of this lost Astartes (with lost technology as well) caused a lot of intrigue, mostly between Ultramar, the unsatisfied and barely heretical 8th Company of Ultramarines, the traditionalist Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor Ivan Dragoon and the extremist xenophiliac Ordo Xenos Inquisitors Von Daineken and Giorgio Tsokaulos.

The Luna Wolves ended being incorporated at the Deathwatch by the Lord Inquisitor Von Daineken, but not without some grave intrigues and political machinations going on...
