Description The latest vehicle I built from scratch, using only thick paper (called triplex), glue and, in this case, some random pieces of junk I found in my neighbor's garbage. The body is the same model I used for the Pater Nurgle Rhino orcbruto.deviantart.com/art/Pa… , and this time I decided for a laser turret instead of open hatch. As it's a Khorne vehicle, I craved it with spikes, blades and thorns, and put this grotesque eight pointed star over the turret for more dramatic effect XD

I found some small tube-things in my neighbor garbage (probably some machinery piece), and they looked so much as lascannons that I couldn't hold myself from using them

In fluff, this is the vehicle from one of my berserk troops, the Bloodwolves. It is quite modern, "acquired" after a raid to a Space Wolves outpost and refitted to please the Blood God. The lascannon was modified and two additional barrels were included, becoming a twin-linked twin-linked lascannon!!!! (or a quadruplet-linked lascannon!!!!). But, despite the eagerness of the Dark Mechanicus for more firepower (or as an ork would put it, "Moar dakka!!!"), the razorback generator can't feed more than two lascannon at a time, making the spare barrels just a backup, in case something happens to the main barrels...

Also the Dark Mechanicus at service of the Bloodwolves decided to fill this little monster with spikes and blades, making it a bit more deadly if it runs over someone. And quite intimidating too...

So, what do you think? Any ideas for a next razorback? critics? advices?

Wow.  I've never liked the tendency artists (fans, Games Workshop, Relic) of just adding spikes, skulls and grime/bloodstains onto something an then saying "it's a Chaos vehicle."  I really do appreciate how small details such as that can make a difference, but what's so cool about Warhammer is how it makes distinctions between the minute vehicle variations.  So I always felt let down when we go over to a distinct army, like the Chaos Space Marines, and seeing the same vehicles with a different paintjob.  It's like encountering recolored models in a videogame.

(Though I always get a kick out of people sticking vivisected models to the sides).

But I still always had trouble thinking how something as basic as a rhino (yes, I know this is a razorback) could be significantly altered, without losing it's quintessential functionality.  Yet here it is!

Wow! Thanks!

Yap, also inside the Chaos factions, there is plenty of difference between each one. From the Black Legion to the Word Bearers and World Eaters, there are plenty of particular creeds and styles. Even each warband should have it's distinct look

For Chaos there is some logic, as they use old vehicles that used to be "standard" Astartes stuff and stolen/pillaged ones from loyal chapters, but they would customize it a lot, printing their personal ideas over it
