Description Well, one of my favorite characters in the Horus Heresy novels is Ahriman from the Thousand Sons, so first I bought one of that Thousand Sons conversion kits and made my own Ahriman using the sorcerer model. But after I bought the Chaos Space Marines kit, I decided to "upgrade" my old HQ. The original conversion was quite crude, so I used the Tzeentch Champion head and staff (that looks a lot like the Ahriman from GW official art)  

Also made a base that looks more like a desert, using some iron dust that got around my blacksmith shop. As Ahriman is one of the most powerful sorcerers from 40k universe, I decided to use some small electric cables to make some candles, like if he was in the middle of some sort of ritual. 

So... what do you think? Did my painting skills improved since my last miniatures? Any suggestions or critics?

And, fun fact, Ahzek Ahriman and Ser Jorah Mormount are the only characters ever to be exiled from their own exile XD

I would risk a "friendzone heroes" but the whole "flaming gay love" is rather Abaddon's and Lucius' stuff (for Abaddon, it's verging on psychotic, for Lucius, it's actually canon ^ ^)

Typhus is quite awesome as a model... I would really love to build him. I like Kharn a lot from the Horus Heresy novels, but I think the official miniature is quite dumb, he looks almost like a dwarf, and that unprotected arm is just a nonsense... I think I may try to redesign him

Nice the look is just right, maybe add more magical nicknacks and maybe the paint might be a little thick on the back but awesome.  Are you going to do Typhus or Fabulous Bile?

Magical nicknacks? Hummmm... like some black goat's head in a pentagram or something like that? 

I would love to, Fabius Bile is one of my favorite characters from the Horus Heresy novels (he is so damn evil!), and Typhus miniature is quite awesome... Too bad there isn't any Games Workshop store in Brazil, and importing here is quite complicated (taxes are usually more than 100% of the original value). If I stumble in someone selling them around here, I will surely buy

Hummm... yes... I used five shades of blue to give it a more profound deepness, but I think it got quite "heavy" with paint...

Obama army? Hummmm... It would make things easy in Afghanistan, if he didn't changed sides... XD

We Americans  have this Land Warrior Program to built power armor which sounds like Mark 1 Lightning Armor.
