One of the oldest members of the Devourers of Flesh, Basaar was a member of the Blood Angels chapter some hundreds of years ago. Suffering from the Red Thirst, he went with some brother Astartes in a journey to the places Sanguinius visited in his life, seeking to find some insight on how to control or cure his flawed geneseed.

Instead of being illuminated by the Emperor or his Primarch's light, Basaar ended overtaken by the Thrist and separated from his brothers. Drinking sickened human blood, he started to become more and more monstrous, until Granpa Nurgle took pity on his suffering and blessed him with his unholy powers. Cured from the Red Thirst but decaying in body and mind, Basaar was rescued by the Death Guard and brought into Nurgle's service.

So, one more of my Nurgle's army marines. He is in a "Matrix-like" pose, probably trying to dodge some bullets while covering his torso with a shield.

What do you think? Do you like him? Not like him? I'm curious for your opinion...
