.... Order allow me to question you (again....) First of all from what I understand during the 18th to early 19 the century drugs derived from the opmuim plant where not illegal so I can see why there was a boom in production under the British empire now let's look at Afghanistan eh? When we went in there we topple a government, a goverment people fear to defy, now once that force is gone we had to create a new one correct? So this causes political chaos which happen when the coalition was around and during chaotic periods you can get away with a lot of stuff due to the very nature of chaos hence why there was a boom in production once more, now ask your self this who do the producer send the drugs to? Politicians? Nope they send them to drug dealers who sell the drugs mostly to Iran !(payvand.com/blog/blog/2010/06/… yes i know its dated but its the most recent one i have found) now do we see the effects you listed in Iran? Because if we are to find evidence of your theory then obviously we should look at the biggest consumer and what do we see? Well the government in Iran is the same old same old government we know today
Now let us think. Is the drug money really being use to control the USA then wouldn't opium be legal? Then they could add all those mind control things without getting punish since you think they controlled everything in the US gov. Also the most popular drug in america is Abilify!!! If your theory where to make sense wouldn't we see that increase in production?

I wasn't talking about Iran - I was talking about Afghanistan.
The cultivation simply increased whilst the coalition forces were there, whereas we would have expected it to decrease (if our forces were upholding their apparent anti-drug policies.)
The drugs that transpire are then distributed to drug dealers globally, particularly in America where the largest increase has been seen.
By controlling the supply of drugs, the military/corporate interests can get those drugs into areas they want to profit from.
By managing the supply of opium, or any other drug, they then have the monopoly. It is exactly the same as the bankers who control the money supply. They have the upper hand.
The drugs are filtered into the west and the demand for those drugs increases.
With more and more rules in America regarding the use of drugs, particularly the black communities, the prison industrial complex can also prosper from its private incarceration boom.
It's a perfect set up. The CIA has been playing around with drugs for decades. And then there is Bill Clinton's history in Arkansas.
Most of the politicians turn a blind eye to these events, some make a bit on the side from it.
This has been thoroughly documented and reported on for some time now.
There is a colossus of information out there from witnesses and whistleblowers in the military, congress and private investigators.
