This seems so tragic and beautiful.... The lighting and concept are so original and I had to look at the stock to understand what was going on because I thought it was scissors maybe lifting him/her away from suffering but from what I can tell, it seems like no matter where they live, there is no happiness in this. In the sea they are sad and helpless then they are just scooped up and eaten, so their is suffering both ways. (in which maybe only death is their escape or peace?). Pleas let me know if I am right in this interpretation, will you?
