the spartan 3 had no armor like the spartan 2, they didn't get the MARK armor

Actually there were small groups of SIIIs that were Mjolnir augmented, Mjolnir Trained, an given Mjolnir.

Actually all of them were augmented. Mjolnir for a small group.

There are a few bone differences between the normal augmentation and the augmentation used in accordance with Mjolnir. Some bone strength and tolerance things to ensure the spartan wouldn't be ripped apart by the armor. This wasn't done often, as it was dangerous even to highly compatible subjects.

looks better than the armor in halo 4 in my opinion. to me it looks more functional and powerful than bits of metal stuck onto key parts of your body on top of something that resembles a unitart.

A faithful redesign of the Mark V for the new MJOLNIR GEN2. However, I couldn't stick with halo 4... It just kinda'... hurt, I guess.

But this is very nice. Not a fan of GEN2, but this makes it tolerable.
