I've been on a bit of an art kick lately... Haven't had much of a muse for writing, but I literally want to do ALL THE ART.
So I figured it was time for my baby girl to get a spiffy new ref >u<

She tries to keep to decorum at all times, and she's been taught that being overly emotional or touchy with others is not really appropriate. That being said, she often sneaks into the warm space between her parents or cuddles up to her father's warm chest when she is allowed to -- after all, family is different. Family is safe.

Alé is very set in her ways despite her young age, because her ways are her parents' ways, and her parents are never wrong. She holds both her Mama and Daddy on a pedestal and considers their word law -- if they tell her something or feel a certain way, there can be no doubting it, and there's no changing her mind.

She is also quite sheltered from most of society, due to her father's distaste for many of his peers. She interacts with a select number of fawns her father approves of and never leaves sight of the family guards. As such, she can be a bit timid around strangers initially, though she is quick to gain her footing and natural airs once she feels comfortable.

Appearance: Alé has grown into a graceful young hind. Poised and gentle, she still retains the softness of youth, with the new sleekness of approaching adulthood. She has an unusually long and thick chest fluff, much like her father, though hers is more wispy and cloud-like. Her expressions are very mild and polite; you'll never see any extreme emotions passing over her face. As predicted, her mane and tail have grown in long and straight like her mother's, and she now wears it tied into neat braids with her favourite purple blossoms threaded.

RelationshipsWith her parents:
Alé has remained close with both her parents, and still is very much their little girl. Now, she is pleased to have reached a new level of connection with both her parents -- something achieved simply by virtue of age and shared experiences.
Alé is very much her parents' baby. Firstborn of her mother and first daughter of her father, she is very cherished by both -- and the feeling is definitely mutual. She loves her parents and thinks them the perfect examples of what it means to be a good royal. Her daddy is the strongest, sternest, lordiest Lord in Glenmore, of course, and he gives her the greatest feeling of safety and warmth with his hugs. Her mama is the ultimate Princess, being proper, disciplined, gentle and basically everything Alé knows she needs to be when she grows up.

With Alma:
Alé remembers Alma fondly, and hopes that -- once she is more settled into her home -- the older Lady would be open to seeing her. Alma's departure saddened Alé greatly, and initially she was quite hurt by it. However, with age comes the wisdom of knowing the depths of emotional pain and the lengths it can drive one to. While Alé loves her father unconditionally, and knows he feels the same for her, she knows well the pain of dealing with a distant husband.
Alé adores Alma, and definitely considers her something of another mother. Having known the dark-faced Lady since Alé herself was a fawn, Alé has nothing but good things to say about her. Alma is the only one she trusts to grow her favourite purple flowers for her hair -- even daddy doesn't make them quite right.

With her older brothers:
Alé loves her two brothers wholeheartedly, having been close to them both since her youth. Callion in particular has become a much closer friend and confidant now than he ever was before, largely due to their new proximity. She has since grown mostly out of her playing phase and prefers quieter pursuits, though she still enjoys hearing their stories when she can.

Alé is fond of her honorary great-uncle Lord Prendergast II, despite her father's caution against becoming too close to them due to their untraditional ways. As for her uncle Aailen, he is a point of deep sadness for Alé -- perhaps the worst sadness she has experienced in her young life. It is hard for her to reconcile her smiling, laughing uncle with the abusive monster he became.
Alé is always a bit shy every time she sees her extended family -- whether on her daddy's or her mama's side -- however she is far more likely to thaw out with them than strangers. She enjoys it whenever her uncle Aailen comes to visit -- especially when he brings one of her cousins to play with her -- though his loud voice and boisterous nature often throw her off for a short while every time till she gets used to him again.
