Not much is known about this bull he was seen a short period of time with the F-pod matriline where the researchers spotted a unrelated adult bull orca with lots of freckles ,they observed the bull orca doing mating behaviors with the matriarch of F-pod (Nimah) it seemed that the bull had stayed with the pod for a week before departing . About a year or so later the bull orca returned and met up with the matriarch again who he mated with her 3 times over the course of 5 years it was also documented that the bull was helping teaching and raising his calves (Oreo,Osaka,Ryuk) it was then decided to name the bull , and the winning name was Sensei which means teacher in Japanese. it seemed to suit the orca well and sensei then stayed with the pod and then leaves to mate with other females in different pods.
