Here they can be found near rotten wood. They don't do any harm.

It's winter here, so there aren't many bugs out. When it gets warm the grasshoppers speed up some, but no beetles yet-at least, not as we know them. ^^

Pyracore or "gendarme" as they are called in France come out as soon as the sun warms things up.
