Description It was a time when magic is greater than science

That was a joke, that tagline is from Visionaries .

This is a collaboration between me and my little brother deathstorm> [link]
While watching Kamen Rider Agito, we thought of creating a character in the tradition of Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Guyver and henshin heroes.
Thus we created Zerbo. Yep, is name is an homage to Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad 's main protagonist because we originally intended him to be an Ultraman counterpart to stray from KR Agito's distinctive likeness but we thought it would limit the self-concept so we scaled him down to human size.
Right now I'm still trying to convince him to post our self-created Project: Zerbo comics in his account (because it is his concept after all so I don't want to steal his thunder. And you should also see Agtarok, Zerbo's main enemy. He designed it, it's mind-blowing!) but he doesn't want to post anything unless colored. Sigh.

You got me there, man I copied KR Black's pose indeed, I'm not too happy with this art either, his thighs are a bit big here. The only thing I'm proud of is his head symmetry Thanks so much friend. By the way, your legendary hero makes me curious, Gundala! I really want to know more about him, wikipedia is not much help... I think he's equivalent to our Captain Barbell in terms of being a national icon, right?

I watched that live action but it was ages ago and I totally forget about the story....
Sadly I haven't seen that film anymore...
I'm going to ask my father since Gundala is my father's hero when he was young....
And now only a few people know about him in my country....

Really? That's a surprise.. I mean, when I searched him here in dA there are so many fan arts of him... And also, I'm far away from your country but I've heard of him... I wish somebody there reboots him soon, man. He's an important piece of your culture, in my opinion You see, our Capt. Barbell has recently reached his 48th anniversary and his popularity is still high because he's always being rebooted time and again. I really wish some people will reignite Gundala's legacy. He looks so cool...

I know, I like Gundala a lot and not only him....
There are some of Indonesian superheroes besides Gundala like :
Godam (as famous as Gundala), Panji Tengkorak, Si Buta dari Gua Hantu (or should I say, The Blindman from Phantom Cave ?? XD), Aquanus, Caroq, Laba-laba Merah (even we have Indonesian Spider-Man and the costume is really identical...Man ! What a copy !!) and many others....

I almost got excited that Gundala will be rebooted and the live action will be released....
But sadly, that's just a HOAX !!!!

WOW, Captain Barbell got rebooted many times ??
That's pretty great !!
Really an original superhero in your country !!
But the opposite happened in mine........

But don't worry, there is still hope...
"Eternal Defenders" will be born...

I know man, who wouldn't like Gundala? One look at him and I thought "COOL!!!" Haven't heard of the others, but Godam, yeah! He's a Superman-type guy too right? I'll research your other heroes... Jeez, we have Spidey rip-offs too but just pure lame, the only one who makes a cool homage is Boy Ipis but he's still unpopular here... Oh yeah, I heard that one too, I thought it was the reason why there are many fan arts of Gundala, because his popularity rose again due to reboot but I found out its just a hoax! Ahh, I hope a real reboot comes soon. If Mercury Man and Cicakman movies were able to reach our country, I know Gundala can do it too! And yeah, since he debuted on comics on 1963, Capt. Barbell had four movies, some comicbook reboots and 2 tv shows (the tv shows were lame though ) Okay man, I'm counting on your Eternal Defenders to carry Gundala's torch and be internationally known. I will then boast: "Hey, those are my friend's creations!" Your imagination is great man, I know you can pull it off, just keep your passion alive to go on improving more. I'm proud of being your friend

the arts very much cool~~ and ang pagkakadesign then, pero I think you innovate it pa.^^ People won't get satisfied with juz this, so uh...I think more sketches and details to you know, mas may dating.^^

and kasi tingnan ito kahit anong angulo, masked rider ito eh...with Ultraman's body... so honest to goodness, I say MOAR improvement.^^

okay na ang concept, ang pagkakadesign na lang sa henshin transformation ang tuonan nyo ng pansin.^^

ahh...Agito, yung first sa mga modern, newer generations ng Masked Rider diba... yung before sa Ryuki. ^^ Akala ko yung fist masked rider tlga~~

so uh...nang hindi masabi ng mga tao na M.Rider tingnan tlga yang sa inyo, you two focus on the details din para hanep. ^^

kahit saang angulo M.Rider tlga kasi tingnan eh...kaya you guys juz improve. maganda na ang concept, ang details na lang ang needs improvement.
and lulz, patay na si Ishinomori~~ Toei company ang hahabol sa inyo though... but relax, wala namang nakakasuhan ng ganun eh~~ as long as there's always a disclaimer. ^^
(except don't fanfic Anne Rice's works, pwede kang kasuhan tlga nyan, though hers is a different story, and siya lang yung creator na alam kong nangkaso ng mga fans.)

Actually si KR Kuuga ang pinakauna, much like the Ultraman Tiga, sa heisei yata tawag nila. I loved UM kaso nu'ng nagshift na sila sa armors, naging metal hero na, same with KR ngayon na overkill na sa metal parts so after Agito,my interest in KRs waned. Si Agito last na astig na rider for me, though my brother loevs Ryuuki. Ayoko du'n bukod sa metal parts eh yugi-oh cards ang gamit
Hey I love your KR,parang v1 to v3 but the name sounds very ordinary, at least in Japan .

Yeah, I figured that out, dapat siguro gayahin ko si Berlin Manalaysay, he based Combatron on Megaman but improved his character so wala na masyado nagki-criticize sa kanya, in fact he gained overwhelming respect

I see. I still like a bit of that Masked Rider Faiz, and yung Ryuuki, and then "Decade" is parang ALL OF THEM na. Watch decade if you feel like reliving the past and the present riders. Like sa ni-link ko dun, andun si Minami Kotaro. He's there because
~~to destroy/paptayin lamang nya ang mga new riders.

Same here, I love Ultraman especially Tiga, 'yung Final Odyssey, super-epic! Sabi nga nila, when you hear V6's Take Me Higher, parang gusto mo magsuot ng rubber suit at mang-hunting tapos mambugbog ng kaijus haha!Gagawa nga ako ng fan art niya soon eh, based on Khoo Fuk Lung's art
And siyempre, sa KRs, Black at Agito fan talaga ako. Luckily, nakabili ako ng pirated na dvd ni Agito (secret lang 'yun ha?hehe) sira na 'yung 12 episodes pero pinapanood ko pa rin, of course Rina Akiyama is a big, big factor!

maganda naman ang story ng Faiz.^^ Parang nirecycle nga lang ang story ng Black... and dinagdagan ng element na ang Riders dun ay "monsters" din na gustong protektahan ang mga tao.

dun nauso yung Riders na monsters tlga. Sa KR-Hibiki and Kabuto and kahit yung cardcaptors este Blade, ganun din ang concept. mga Riders ay monsters. Actually ang pinakaunang Rider ay ganyan dba. Kaso parang pinag-experimentohan xa na tao.
yung Riders ng Faiz, Hibiki, Kabuto, and Blade, monsters tlga sila, walang human experiment and the like; na parang nagkakaisip at nag-asal at nagpanggap na tao.



lulz yep, Tiga, Dyna, and Nexus. I like Nexus kasi may mature na theme eh. May namamatay tlga sa kanila.^^

ano nga ba yang "Take me Higher"? Yun yung kanta sa Tiga, dba?

Ganu'n ba? Sana pala sinubaybayan ko yung Faiz. Kasi naman I already started to hate GMA nu'ng mga panahon na 'yun. Gusto ko pa naman 'pag ganu'n ang istorya. Mabuti ipinaalala mo si Hibiki, pinalabas sa 5 'yun di ba? Sinubaybayan ng utol ko 'yun kaya pinagtawanan ko, kailan ka nakakita ng Rider na hindi nagmomotorsiklo? Ahahaha! yep, pag wala ako mapanood sa youtube, I search "Take Me Higher" by V6, asteeeeeeg! Lalo na 'yung amv ni Tiga vs Kyrieloid... Tiga, Light of Hope! Nagustuhan ko din yung Nexus kasi it showed Ultraman as a symbiotic entity that he is, na marami siyang sinaniban basta alam niyang rightful person. 'Yung The Next, parang metal version ni Nexus lang eh. Hmm,alam mo nu'ng una ko napanood si Rina sa Agito, nagandahan na 'ko, tapos kyut na wholesome pa. Then nagulat ako nu'ng sinearch ko sa web, aba naghuhubad pala! Ah, ganu'n ba? Actually Gundam G lang nagustuhan ko sa Gundam universe hehe!
'Yung Agito, halos kapareho din ng Black, dark element, horror/mystery kaya ko nagustuhan, plus lang si Rina kaya I would've loved Faiz kung hindi siguro sa GMA ipinalabas.

Hindi lang iyon, tinatambol yata kalaban ang finisher ni Hibiki, it's a very LAME concept, baduy talaga! And thank God hindi ko pinapanood ang Fourze, kahapon ko lang nalaman na may ganu'n pala dahil sa action figure na nakita ko

Yep, I love Ultraman too, kahit halos pare-pareho istorya, iniisip ko na lang, staying true to the concept but no one can replace Tiga sa faves ko, kahit pa nga kamukha ni Yayo Aguila si Daigo BWAHAHA! siguro kasi maganda si Rena kaya pati kuya ko na walang hilig sa tokusatsu (except KR Black) napanood na din ng Tiga. Okay naman 'yung The Next, problema lang mabagal pacing ng istorya, but the effects are great, kahit mukha ng /gundam sa pagka- hi tech 'yung Ultraman du'n.

Hahaha! Well, sino'ng lalaki ang hindi magkakagusto tumingin sa half-naked girl? Lalo na kay Rina and hey, sana mapanood mo ang KR Agito, the G3/ G3X system (worn by Hikawa)concept is fantastic, sabi nga ng isang boss character "the humans have THIS MUCH POWER TOO?" Hindi lang power ng KR ang ini-highlights, pati ng tao. The supporting characters like Houjou Tourou is interesting din kahit pa anti-hero

Wala yata, Ryuuki nga meron pa. Nu'ng napanood ko Japanese version, napangiti ako sa "FINAL VENTO" haha!

I mean, alien merging with human and spark lance, unlike KR na hindi lahat bunga ng experiment
