Description
This is a complete remix of a drawing concept I've attempted before, but has come up flat and I never really enjoyed it, so I had to re-mix, re-do, and re-envision.

The idea behind this seemingly violent image is actually based on the lore of the Metroid video game series; Samus Aran, the female heroine wears a bio-mechanical ability enhancing battle suit that can break apart under extreme conditions, so I had to create an image that reflects the art and mood of that pivotal moment.

In this picture, you can see rough sketch lines which I've turned on, the colors are off so I can see contrast in the shading. What amazes me is every time I do one of these pieces, I learn a faster and better way of attempting lines and coloring. It isn't just drawing, doing this is much like a battle of logic.
