And here we have a comic cover for Mike313's SOE2 story, Amazing Amazon. To be perfectly honest, I had some serious doubts about his choice of Rei's SOE2 identity, and I'm not particularly fond of the Greek gods who are constantly showing up, and seem to be bigger manipulative jerks than Gendo ever dreamed of being, but I do have to admit that Rei and Wonder Woman have something in common, in that they were both created, rather than born.Now, I admit to have taken a few liberties with this pic, in that Rei is buffer than she was in the show. But I felt that it was fitting, given that she's supposed to be fitting into Wonder Woman's shoes, as it were.
And once again, I'm updating pics I've already completed. But after digging up some new brushes and textures to use with Photoshop, I just couldn't resist!
With the application of comic-style lineart, as well as some modifications to Rei's body, coloring, as well as an overhaul of the background, I consider this pic to be complete, with no further renditions to be coming. I hope the results meet with everyone's approval.
Based on the feedback I got from this and "Before And After - Amazing Amazon 1", I slimmed Rei/Wonder Girl's legs down somewhat. Hopefully, that'll do the job.

Well him and Marco, I'm not sure who had the idea first so I just credit them both. And yeah I liked it quite a bit, good job. One of these days we gotta see if we can get that wonder asuka idea off the ground. Anyhow fantastic update, planning on going back and touching up the other covers?

Oh, right. I remember that colored pic of Wonder Girl/ Rei of Marco's. And yeah, I think Asuka is a better fit as Wonder Girl. Not to mention that a little Amazonian training and discipline would hopefully knock her ego down to manageable levels.
Actually, the only cover left to touch up is the Maya/Zatanna one. After that, I'll be getting some new pieces up (finally!).

Yeah that was a good one. And true we both agree on both points, Asuka would make a good wonder girl and that Amazonian training would probably help a lot with several of her issues. Course Misato would make a great Wonder Woman too.

Oh, I don't doubt that Misato would work well as Wonder Woman. Actually, I think I once spotted a fanfiction with her filling that role.

Some how i can't see Rei as Wonder Woman,Asuka would be better for the role,also she long hair just like wonder woman too.

Actually, I talked it over with , and we both agreed that Asuka would be a better fit for Wonder Woman. Plus, I would think that training with the Amazons would help rein in her arrogance and self-important behaviors. Which wear thin VERY quickly, in my opinion.
But since the SOE2 stories are mostly being done by Mike313, that wasn't my call to make.

Well, actually, that version of Rei is rather more buff than canon (and gets away with it in the same way that Asuka got away with Power Girl's 'heroic physique'-she 'trained her ass off' on the gym as 'physical therapy')....
Any case.... this cover and the Magic Touch's cover just KICK ASS.
