Did you know Marvel used your art in Vader: Dark Visions #4? Page 9, fourth panel.

Unexpectedly tender pic. I'm very fond of Vader - he looks so sentemental.

Absolutely awesome. And the T/A looks perfectly proportioned too, which is no small feat given how bad sources are!

I love it, somewhere deep inside that little boy who loved racing and building his own gadgets shines through.
Perhaps it takes him back to earlier years where he only felt free when flying above the sand.
That frozen moment where humanity shines through before being swallowed back down into darkness again.

This is an extraordinary piece of Star Wars art. Not basically for it's great, atmospheric drawing style, but for concentrating on an aspect, which was never properly themed in any of the movies - the fascinating technologies. It is really a cool picture, showing Vader's personal interest in his personal fighter. And on the side, it perfectly shows how huge those machines actually are, compared to how small they seem in movies and games.
Well, he definately has the right feeling about this fighter, since it didn't break and saved his life in battle. And you did great with the lighting here. A great piece and surely worth a DD.
Just one question: Why absolutely no description? I would have liked to know, what made you decide drawing this theme, what you personally like about the idea and all such things.

I like this piece. Lord Vader's trading in his older TIE for a newer model? I like how you have this scene occurring in the rain. It makes you wonder where this inspection is happening.

i think this was an X3 tie fighter as an experimental variant, and I believe the tie bomber was X2 and tie interceptor was X1
or something like that.

What an intimate moment. I just noticed the cables attached to the ship, just like kind of life support. I think they might not be without meaning. Truly a stunning picture, probably one of my most favorite ones ever.
