Voila~!Smugglers (Lia's) Hidden Blade~!
You can't see the top, for which I'm sorry, but atleast this shows it's done!
And because it's done, all I need to do is the sleeves and gloves, which I intend to do tomorrow, as I intend to wear this to Tsunacon. So I can focus on the Harlequin commission I have (and enjoy) again!
It's actually sliding in and out (like my other hidden blades) and makes a nice *SHWING* noise as it does.
It's not suited for typing stuff, like long artist's comments with, but it does give me a +1 cool, I think! (or at least the feeling! XD)

I'm sorry I've made so many now that I can't be bothered to ever make one again. They're easy to make and there are plenty of tutorials out there! ^^

OMG, you're going to London MCM Expo in May! Awesome, I'll be going as The Smuggler as well so we can... smuggle things together, lol. Would love a photo together.

Yes these are drawer sliders, altered a bit. Easy to do (read; could be finished in an hour or two! Incl paint!)

Awesome, I shall start them as soon as I get my hand on some sliders. I'm doing the first gear, second colour for the smuggler as it's my favourite. Are you doing the normal one or different?

Haha, no just like always, I bought all the fabrics and made one piece months a go (the shortpants) then left it for other cosplays for other people and made everything else the past week! XD oops?
Oh it's not that I don't like the puffy sleeves, and I saved those for last since I didn't knew which I wanted more, but I asked my mum and a friend and both them and me were leaning more to the first gear's sleeves, as they suit the hotpants as well!

Lol, 'everything else' in a week! 0_0 It will probably take me about 2 months to make, depends how into it I get, probably very as it looks fun to make.

hi, its me again, you know i just realised your 23, im only 13 a decade more wisdom, thats why ur so good at cosplay, any ways im thinking of making a concept art for my assassin gives me a better idea adn also how did u make ur hidden blade, i need one and its hard to make
and i thought u were gonna be the smuggler at mcm expo?

yeeeeeees I'll be smuggler on MCM as well, but there's a mini convention this Sunday here in Holland. I made mine with a deskslider, and it really speaks for itself. I'll be making a tutorial on how to make one like that in a month or two.

Ahhhh that might be true, about the more wisdom bit (but I doubt it XD) but we're here to share with the young ones, and we, or atleast I never had anyone giving me hints and tips!

thanks for explainig this i was confused, and for the tips theres a first for everything (im gonna start) with your hidden blade if its spring loaded (is it?) make sure you lock it or you might stab yourself, my cousins friend did this he was altiar for mcm expo 2008 and he accidentaly cut his ring finger off, he didnt have plastic surgery he tought it looked and i quote "frikin awesome"

im sending this late on account im bidding for a G1 ultra magnus (original transformers that end a at 00:30 january 30th, im like transformers i wanted some at mcm expo october 2010 but i didnt have enouh money

Ha mine isn't springloaded (because weapon law in Holland is VERY strict I wouldn't be able to even bring it outside the house, plastic tip or not!) but gravity fed, it makes a nice SHING noise when it comes out, and it looks awesome, if I say so myself, so I guess that's good!
Mine is locked btw, or this one is. There's a screw that keeps the blade in place (same goes for when it's out, for photos, I can lock it!)

ok, im younger but my hands are big but there not massive so it should work
as for the shoulder cannons 5 ponds is an estimate but its probably right its not come yet but it might tomora or wed
i might forge some packaging and sell it in about 2 yrs
and for my dagger im thinking of mould of my dads knife, to fill it i was thinking of melting down some cheap plastick knifes and forks and fill the mould its a good size for me

It's not THAT hard to make really... Just have to think before you saw or drill in the aluminium! XD Wearing goggles is a MUST, really, last thing you want is a bit of aluminium in your eye! >.<
