Description     This is a follow up to a previous post  www.deviantart.com/oryxace/art…, showing the first of these two models, "Wyandotte."  Well now "Walker" is assembled, and I've made the modifications to "Wyandotte" I mentioned in the earlier post.  Unfortunately, neither turned out how I wanted them to turn out, the drive sprockets are just royally f*cked, and the turrets were not fitted properly, so they are literally just sitting on top, not actually attached.  All things considered, I think they look alright, I'm planning on buying a third one, where I will be able to correct my mistakes from the first two models, it will be named "Ouellette."

The tank on the left is "Wyandotte," and the tank on the right is "Walker."  I'm planning on putting together a whole squadron of 1:35 scale model tanks, in which these two are part of 2 Troop.  I'm calling it "The Windsor and Essex Tank Regiment."

It will break down like this (I hope):

1 Troop - Mixed nationality 105mm gun tanks,

- Leopard 1, "Ambassador" (named after the Ambassador Bridge, which connects Windsor and Detroit),
- M48A2GA2, "Tecumseh" (named after a town just outside Windsor Ontario),
- M60A1 with reactive armour, "Odette" (named after the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor),
- Recce (armoured reconnaissance); Cougar AVGP, "Dougall" (named after a road in Windsor Ontario),

2 Troop - American 90mm gun tanks,

- M48A2 Patton III, "Wyandotte" (named after a street in Windsor Ontario),
- M48A2 Patton III, "Walker" (named after a district and road in Windsor Ontario),
- M48A2  Patton III, "Ouellette" (named after the main road in downtown Windsor Ontario),
- Recce; M41 Walker Bulldog (76mm), "Spitfire" (named after the Windsor Spitfires, an Ontario Hockey League team based in Windsor Ontario),

3 Troop - British 120mm rifled gun tanks,

- Chieftain Mk. 5, "Lauzon" (named after a major expressway in Windsor Ontario),
- Challenger 1, "Ojibway" (named after another major expressway in Windsor Ontario),
- Challenger 2, "Gordie Howe" (named after the new bridge being built between Windsor and Detroit, which is in turn named after a famous hockey player),
- Recce; FV101 Scorpion, "Howard" (named after a street in Windsor Ontario),

4 Troop - Mixed nationality 120mm smoothbore gun tanks,

- Leopard 2,
- AMX Leclerc,
- M1A1 Abrams,
- Recce; Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle,

I'm still debating what 3 and 4 Troop will ultimately look like, whether I'm gonna go for two Chieftains and a Challenger 1, or what you see in the current order of battle.  I'm also debating whether or not to make 4 troop out of 120mm smoothbore gun tanks, or early cold war tanks, like the Centurion Mk. 3, and M47 Patton II.

As for right now, I'm waiting on the delivery of a Leopard 1 and M41 tank models, so in the meantime I might finally finish (I started building it almost a decade ago) assembling the F/A-18 Super Hornet you can see in the background here, and start digging into my Gunpla backlog.
