Hi everyone! Back again with another traditional piece! This time, a painting~
This is old art but it isn't too old, not old like the last pieces I have uploaded..
I made this around February for Valentine's Day as the theme for one of my class art projects and well... I decided to go dark LOL
This was done on some kind of board with acrylic paints. Decided to abstract the hell out of this one (when do I ever paint things non-abstract.. >_>)

This is a wonderful painting. I can see this is a painting of heart with various shades of red, blue, brown, purple and a bright white. I like the way you painted and edited this painting because it realy brings out the white, like a light, like it's screaming at you to look at it. It's also wonderful what a contrast the dark multiple strokes on the background make with the white.
But the best is the way you painted the strokes, the reds are very bright, like lava, and the light blue bright like the sky that contrast with the darker colors like brown or black to give it a dark aesthetic. and I just love how many strokes with differant colors and directions there are, it makes it so you can stare at it longer, just looking at the detailed strokes. The colors dripping on top of the heart are also a great detail. Was this dedicated to your crush?

I really like the visible strokes and markings throughout this! I think the circular dabs in the blue look feathery and soft so they make me feel uplifted and fuzzy whereas the chunkier, streakier marks in the red remind me of claw marks so they seem a little foreboding. I also like the drips over the heart and the scratchy paint there, like the colours are bursting over (like a love that can't be contained!).
